%X Aimed at the differences of operating instructions and data structure upon heterogeneous CAD systems,and based on the technology of semantic feature modeling,this paper proposed a kind of new architecture which could support the collaborative design of heterogeneous CAD systems.It solved the problem of "writing conflict" between heterogeneous CAD systems effectively by a kind of new scheduling policy,improved the efficiency of real-time response.The preliminary applications in the collaborative design between HUST-CAIDS and AutoCAD were introduced to prove the feasibility of the theories above.
