Experiment on the tree as a case, it could change the video images including plant growth information into some key frames, and extract the features related to plant topologic structure and organ morphology. In addition, it proposed the branch stitching algorithm to reconstruct the plant topology change process. After reconstruction of the plant growth process on 3DMAX developing platform, it demonstrates that the presented method is feasible and effective in constructing the digital model of plant growth, which also can simulate the process of plant development and morphology change. %K video %K feature %K virtual plant %K simulation
