%X This paper improved the artificial fish swarm algorithm (AFSA) with the proposed swallowing behavior.The complexity of improved artificial fish swarm algorithm (IAFSA) was much less than that of the AFSA and its convergence speed was as fast as the AFSA. Based on the multiuser OFDM system model and the user fairness,this paper designed the objective function of the adaptive resource allocation problem. The results show that the IAFSA can solve the problem of the adaptive resource allocation in multiuser OFDM system very well, as the sum capacity is maximized and the user fairness is satisfied.
