%X Mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) is an emerging research area with practical applications. However, MANET is particularly vulnerable to attack due to its fundamental characteristics, such as open medium, dynamic topology, distributed cooperation and constrained capability. Routing security in MANET plays an important role in the security of the entire network. This paper presented the concept and research situation of the black hole problem, which was one type of routing attack, exploration function component and execution mechanism, and then gave the critical techniques of black hole prevention in detail.At last addressed some major problems and research trends in this area.
