%X With the consideration of connecting and multimedia communication application between Ad hoc network and Internet, this paper proposed and simulated a new adaptive gateway discovery algorithm that not only could adjust the scope of gateway advertisement packets, but also could change the broadcasting interval dynamically. The NS simulation results show the advanced natures for the time delay and the bandwidth of multimedia communication. In addition,designed application layer gateway to realize the connecting based on this algorithm. Finally, by the way of performing video and audio communication tests on the integrated network platform,demonstrated the feasibility and the validity of this connecting scheme for realizing the multimedia communication between Ad hoc network and Internet.
