%X This paper studied apply combinatorial optimization methods to the examination system and the relation between test questions-base numbers and random extraction deeply, presented the mathematical model and calculating formulas in unconstraint and constraint conditions respectively. The experiment results show that when test questions-base numbers reach 3 000, it can satisfy the requirement of traditional examination by random extraction 100 questions using computer.
