%X Image scrambling based on coordinate transformation was a kind of image encryption technologies. This paper put forward a scrambling method for gray image based on image matrix's circular shifting, the random-bit of circle shifting increased non-regularity of the transformation, improved the algorithm's ability of anti-attacking. The algorithm had a simple principle and easy to implement, and had no restriction on image size. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that the algorithm has good security and maneuverability.
