%X This paper applied the classifier based on the extension set theory for the recognition of the stored-grain pests automatically,in order to solve the classification problem of the stored-grain pests' characteristics of multi-category,multi-feature parameters,multi-compound degree of various pests and the incompatible between the single-factor identification and the actual category.Put forward a novel method of building up matter element matrix of the stored-grain pests.After calculating the correlative degrees between the stored-grain pests to be recognized and the nine categories pests,rewgnized the pests according to the principle of the maximum correlative degree.The experiment confirms that the recognition of the stored-grain pests by a classifier based on the extension decision theory is practical and feasible through massive samples training and analysis.
