%X This paper analyzed different power control algorithms in OFDMA system and proposed an improved algorithm based on differential path loss power control to solve the contradiction between system throughput and interference level. The numerical simulation results using the suggested method show its better performance in tradeoff between throughput and interference mitigation, which ultimately contributes to the spectrum efficiency. The suggested method is easier in controlling and valuable in implementation.
