On the basis of analyzing the principle of life detection using impulse ultra wideband (UWB) radar, introduced and described the high-resolution MUSIC algorithm in detail, in response to multi-life detection issues. Used harmonic model to simulate multiple superimposed life features of echo data, according to the actual conditions, used MUSIC and FFT algorithm to analyze the simulation. The results show that MUSIC algorithm can suppress the impact of noise and sidelobe, and identify multiple respiratory rates better than FFT method .Multi-life detection issues can be well resolved using the detection method of impulse UWB combined the high resolution MUSIC algorithm. %K micro-motion object %K impulse UWB %K multi-life detection %K MUSIC algorithm
