王功明 %A 郭新宇 %A 赵春江 %A 王纪华 %J 计算机应用研究 %D 2008 %I %X This paper analyzed and summarized the primary factors that influenced real-time performance of particle system, it concluded and put forward optimizing methods. Firstly, for improving protraction efficiency, it could adopt show-list, billboarding technology, geometrical body optimizing, multilevel particle system. Secondly, for reducing calculating complexity, it could adopt collision checking and disposal optimizing, storage mode optimizing, movement course optimizing, linearity list, local force field. Thirdly, for reducing particle quantity, it could adopt structural particle, LOD technology, fake particle system and so on. In the end, some of the above technologies were applied in soil visual based on particle system. The result indicates that it is simple and practical and system is speed up to sixty point two percent averagely. %K particle system %K visual %K optimizing %K soil visual
