The algorithm which used forward error correction mechanism at the data link layer, predicted the link layer frame loss rate using the Kalman filter, and adjusted the FEC parameter n according to the characteristics of energy efficient analyses of FEC mechanism, in order to improve the performance of wireless sensor networks communication. Made the single jump cluster network model and its energy consumption model. Both the mathematical analysis and simulation demonstrates that the proposed mechanism can significantly improve quality of wireless sensor networks communication, reliability and efficiently use the energy of sensors. %K wireless sensor networks(WSN) %K Kalman filter %K adaptive link-layer FEC %K energy efficient analyses
