%X This paper reported a method of using commercial Telematics(onboard GPS information service platform) to monitor hazardous waster transferring vehicle real-time.The above vehicles was monitored real-time by Telematics,then the Tele-matics service would be hired to transfer the monitoring GPS data to the e-government system,and then the vehicles would be well managed by the e-government system in the Intranet and monitored real-time by the Telematics in the Internet at the same time.The superior advantage of above method was its economical effect compared with buil-ding monitoring center by self.The method of using commercial Telematics will greatly reduce the cost of construction and management at the condition of implementing the same function.The cost comparison between the method of using commercial Telematics and the method of building monitoring center was carried on,the ways of releasing service and receipting service data were also briefly reported,and the maximal number of manageable vehicles was calculated,which was 266.The economical,practical,flexible,and security effect of this method were summarized in the end of this paper,when the commercial Telematics service was hired to assist the monitoring hazardous waster transferring vehicle.
