%X Based on the amino acid composition of the proteins, the nearest neighbour algorithm by using three distance functions,i, e. , Euclidean distance, Minkowski distance and generalized distance, was developed for predicting the protein subcellular location. The results show that such an approach is novel, simple and effective.
