%X This paper analyzed the possible causes of the performance bottleneck in I/O access path in SAN storage architecture and proposed a predictive approach based on feedforward to optimize the I/O performance of SAN effectively, which was using a time series analysis method based on ARIMA to build the predictive and monitoring model of the performance. By this approach, the SAN can improve its availability and reliability effectively due to avoiding the appearance of performance bottleneck in I/O access path.
