%X Aimed at exchanging and sharing the 3D model among heterogeneous CAD systems,this paper proposed a new integration-exchange-and-share method based on feature model,in which the integration-exchange tool was used to exchange data between the special model files from heterogeneous CAD systems and shared unified model files.Firstly,built a feature model,and analyzed the information constitutes and expression of the feature model.Secondly,studied the key technologies in the exchange process of model files,and put forward an identification solution of geometric elements based on application layer of CAD systems.Furthermore,presented the exchange approach of geometric-elements identification.Finally, dosigned and rea-lized the architecture model of integration-exchange tool to verify the method above.
