%X Based on synthesis consideration of complexity and performance cost, this paper proposed a modified scheme of using the ICI self-cancellation module to replace the convolutional coding module. Under invariable transmission rate and bandwidth, it improved the performance of terrestrial DTV transmission system remarkably. Theory analysis and computer simulations all show that the scheme is practical and effective.
