%X Intelligent Agent is being used to user interface design increasingly.Using multi-agent approach,user interface,including the whole system,is decomposed into various agents that communicate with each other.Since UI Agents serve as intermediaries for users to interact with the system,user input isn't regarded as some method invocation,but instead as a communicative act.This paper introduces an agent-based user interface model-ALV,and describes a design method of the Agent user interface components of the DoctorCAD system in CSCW based on ALV and XML.It also highlights implementation technology on UI Customization and describes the design thought and approach of the Personal Wizard.
