王庆 %A 黄燕 %A 吴平 %J 计算机应用研究 %D 2005 %I %X This paper discuss a promising e-learning tool of integrating Artificial Intelligence element,intelligent agent with learning objects,which can assist achieving more intelligent,high-level interactivity and more reusable,extensible online teaching-learning system.The new technology,learning objects applies to educational materials designed and created in small chunks for the purpose of improving reusability,extensibility and manageability of the system.However,with the involvement of learning objects,there are still some problems with the current teaching-learning system.One of disadvantages is that low level of interactivity and intelligence can not adapt to individual learner's preference,such as the learning styles he or she would like.Relative mature AI technologies give an opportunity of integrating AI elements with learning objects.With this design idea,learning objects will be added intelligence and can be work as an agent program,perceiving parameters from its environment then taking the most appropriate behavior or a series actions.Furthermore,like LO with agent program built-in,(user-models) are designed with responsibility for holding all the users'favoritism and all the behaviors or activities relative to them in their online course environment.Because of the user-models conducing to know more about the learners,system will fulfill the tasks with ways adapting to the individual learner's just like a teacher can take disparate methods for every student. %K Learning Objects(LO) %K Artificial Intelligence %K Intelligent Agent %K On-line Distance Education
