%X Taking the case of a relational database management system SQL Server 2000 and combining application system development,this paper summarizes the technique of spatial database based on SDX ,discusses the method of spatial database' establishment based on SDX in environment of VB,and puts forwards the idea of improving performance of spatial database by software and hardware,performance of SQL Server,SDX configuration,organizing of spatial data and programming five different ways.
