%X Surface Rendering is the main method adopted in Cone Beam Computed Tomography for 3D surface reconstruction currently,and it includes two classes of methods: voxel-based reconstruction and slice-based reconstruction.In this paper,we compare the two methods and propose a new slice-based reconstruction algorithm based on 2D slice contour reconstruction and 3D surface reconstruction.Then we use of the standard MC algorithm and the new algorithm to reconstruct two instances respectively.The experiments show that slice-based reconstruction is more appropriate for the 3D reconstruction of industrial productions.
