%X Tables in architectural drawings are one of the important means to transmit ideas of designers. Automated table pro-cessing techniques will highly improve the architectural modernization. Under the guide of the vision theory of manual process andanalysisofthevariablefeaturesofgiventables, afromtoptobottommethodbasedonvisionisproposed. Thismethodan-alyzes table format efficiently, including coupling, nesting, combination and reuse of tables.
