%X In this paper, we present resource management in the Grid briefly, with focus on resource scheduling, and analyze three categories of tactics used in application-oriented resource scheduling. We look into scheduling of different categories of tasks, especially the collaborative tasks, and advance a plan whose main idea is to decompose the collaborative task into parallel or sequential subtasks and schedule the subtasks.
