In this paper, a reconstruction approach based on a general model is proposed. The algorithm starts by computing the 3D coordinates of automatically extracted facial feature points. The coordinates of the feature points are then used to deform a generic face model to obtain a 3D face model for that person. We construct a face database and put forward a new method by which the whole face model are divided into many parts according to its structure.
