%X Based on the analysis of existing routing protocols, a dynamic routing protocol in a kind of special-purpose network is presented. In the proposed protocol, on-demand routing method is adopted; initial communication delay is shortened by considering full-connected topology; the optimal route is determined bymeasuring link delay; backup links are managed by maintaining neighbor information table. It can also support multi-path routing. Prototype system implementations have shown that the proposed protocol is simple, efficient, reliable and available, satisfying the requirements of a kind of special-purpose network.
