%X Ethereal is a network traffic analyzer or sniffer based on GTK and Libpcap(Winpcap under Windows platform) for UNIX and UNIX-like operating systems.It has a better capability of cross-platform packet capture and permits the third party plug-in.A method and implementation skills of developing Ethereal plug-in under Windows platform is presented in details with producing a CORBA protocol dissectors.
