%X User authentication is the important problem in network security.Recently,Chien et al proposed an efficient user authentication scheme using smart card,however,it can see that their scheme is vulnerable to a Reflection Attack,Parallel Attack,Replay Attack and so on.Herein,this paper first shows the weakness of Chien et al's scheme,and then proposes a new improved scheme with better security.
