%X The High Level Architecture (HLA) provides a solid technical foundation for the resource reusability and interoperability in the distributed interactive simulation system.And the resource reusability and interoperability at the logical level are definitely depended on the implementation of the data management.The main three components of the data management separately are describing M&S resource in a standard format,defining Data Interchange Formats and establishing the Modeling and Simulation Resource Repository.An initiative solution by employing XML based technologies is presented to support the data management project based on the survey for the state-of-the-art of the project.And some analysis is made to prove that the decision is practicable.
