%X The occurrence of the distributed component technologies provides a powerful solution for the software development across a network.This paper discusses the conception and characteristic of the component,analyses and evaluates some kinds of existing crucial distributed component technologies.At the same time,it presents the overview of the developing relevant technologies. At last an outlook for Component-Based Development is provided.
