%X A theoretical expression for the driving force and M_s point of mar-tensitic transformation has been proposed. The M_s values calculated using this exp-ression are in good agreement with that obtained experimentally. It was foundthat the values of M_s and M_f are not only related to the carbon content in mar-tensite, but also to the volume fraction of ferrite.
