%X The glass transition occurring in the amorphous semi-coducting Se wasstudied by DSC differential thermal analysis, infrared absorption spectra and positronannihilation technique. The transition seems to be easily explained by MDS modeland valence alternation pair theory developed by Mott et al. and Kaster et al. res-pecticely.
