樊永年 %A 汤宝珍 %A 乔桂文 %J 金属学报 %D 1993 %I %X To eliminate the deposition along BaCuO_2 grain boundaries, the 211 (Y_2Ba_2CuO_5) powder was properly doped to the 123 (YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-x) compounds. Sufficient time for mass transfer along a-b plane was allowed by lowering the cooling rate nearby the temperature of peritectic transformation. Since the plane a-b is the fastest growing one, the length of grains is controlled by the rate of mass transfer. XRD, SEM and EDXA analyses revealed that the grains are strip-shaped, their orientation is perpendicular to c-axis and par- allel to surface a-b plane. Thus, the compound 123 (YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-x) has a strong textural structure. %K liquid phase sintering %K texture %K peritectic transformation %K YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-x) %K Y_2Ba_2CuO_5 %K directional solidification
