%X The infrared emission from the high strength steel for thin-wall pres-sure vessel and from two vessel models themselves during loading has been examin-ed by use of vibro-thermography. The fatigue crack lengths observed on infraredvibro-thermogram are found to be in good agreement with that by optical measure-ment. Thus, a feasible nondestructive defect detecting test for the pressure vesselmay be suggested.
