Further refinement of grains as well as the decrement and refinement of bainite and martensite, hence, a mixed structure of equiaxial and acicular ferrite in the steel may be achieved by RE addition. The ultrairdcrostructural RE inclusion, which is able to contribute RE-containing steel for refinement of grains in the process of controlled rolling, is observed on the fracture surface. Therefore, a satisfactory combination of mechanical properties, such as improved strength and impact toughness, may be approached for the steel containing RE addi(?)ion. %U http://www.alljournals.cn/get_abstract_url.aspx?pcid=5B3AB970F71A803DEACDC0559115BFCF0A068CD97DD29835&cid=AB188D3B70B071C57EB64E395D864ECE&jid=B061E1135F1CBDEE96CD96C109FEAD65&aid=055FB9620C22C3A319DB88E91DF0E79F&yid=9C2DB0A0D5ABE6F8&vid=EA389574707BDED3&iid=0B39A22176CE99FB&sid=31611641D4BB139F&eid=BBF7D98F9BEDEC74&journal_id=0412-1961&journal_name=金属学报&referenced_num=0&reference_num=1
