%X Different methods of ozone aeration, powdered activated carbon adsorption, granular activated carbon filtration, ozone aeration and powdered activated carbon adsorption combination, air aeration and powdered activated carbon adsorption combination were used for investigating the removal efficiency of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, indole and phenol in anaerobic fermentation liquid. In addition, effects of above methods on major nutrients (N, P) in anaerobic fermentation liquid were also investigated. Results showed that the method of powdered activated carbon adsorption was the best for removing nutrients retaining and bad smell materials in the anaerobic fermentation liquid. When the dosage of powdered activated carbon was 15 000 mg/L, hydrogen sulfide, indole and phenol in the anaerobic fermentation liquid were removed completely, the removal efficiencies of ammonia nitrogen and ammonia were 11.42% and 13.98%, respectively, The levels of DN and DP in the anaerobic fermentation liquid were reduced by 10.46% and 19.53%, respectively. However, the content of TN and TP in the anaerobic fermentation liquid increased by 6.26% and 9.63%, respectively.
