%X The Zr-Nb alloy was determined directly on the excited specimen with theenergy dispersion X-ray spectrometer by the fundamental parameter method with-out any reference standard.The result was then calculated using the program byTQ-6 computer.The content of Nb in alloy was showen as(2.58±0.078)% whichis in good agreement with the chemical analytical method.
