王少坡 %A 刘媛 %A 于静洁 %A 魏天兰 %A 孙力平 %J 环境工程学报 %D 2012 %I %X The pollutants removal performance of a cyclic activated sludge technology (CAST) reactor was investigated for treatment of synthetic domestic sewage under alternating anoxic/oxic operation mode. Results showed that a stable organic pollutants removal was achieved during operation. The COD concentration in effluent was below 40 mg/L and the average COD removal efficiency was 91.7%. The average removal efficiencies of NH4+-N and total nitrogen (TN) were 83.9%,72.4%, respectively. In the effluent, nitrate was the main nitrogen species of total nitrogen. The phosphorus was removed effectively in the system with an average phosphate removal efficiency of 90.6%. Furthermore, COD, TN and total phosphorus (TP) in effluent met the requirement of the Class I-A of the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB18918-2002). %K cyclic activated sludge technology (CAST) %K nitrogen and phosphorus removal %K alternating anoxic/oxic
