%X Urban runoff pollution is serious especially for earlier runoff which features high load and impulse attack exert great impact on the urban water environment and its major pollutants COD and N/P are linearly correlated with SS,based on which the paper focused on the control technology of major pollutants COD and N/P of first flush.A demonstration project of artificial zeolite infiltration system was developed to enhance the control and treatment of urban rain runoff.The results indicated that the system efficiently removed NH3-N,TP and COD,among which the removal of NH3-N showed the best performance,the influent concentration of 2~5 mg/L,the effluent concentration is less than the one that is stipulated by the class IV of national surface water environmental quality standards(NH3-N≤0.5 mg/L).
