%X This study tested the promotive effects of four kinds of biodiesel by different origins to release oil from crude oil contaminated sand and analyzed the influence of biodiesel dosage and sand diameter on releasing effects.The results indicate that the promotive effect of rapeseed biodiesel,which helped to release 73% crude oil from contaminated sand,is the best.In contrast,as the worst,the waste fat biodiesel only removed 52%.The promotive effect increased with the dosage of biodiesel,and when the dosage was more than 5%(V/V),it was no longer significant.Smaller diameter sand is tested to be a benefit factor for improving the promotive effect of biodiesel.
