%X Imidazolinone herbicides were persistent in soil, so the studies about the fate of imidazolinone herbicides were very important. This paper introduced the properties of imidazolinone herbicides and discussed the analytical methods of the herbicides in soil. At the same time, the overview on sorption, degradation, mobility and research prospect of imidazolinone herbicides in soil was reported.
