%X The photocatalytic decomposition of microcystin-LR in a photoreactor system has been studied by the UV/Fenton technique. The effects of influential factors on decomposition of microcystin-LR in UV/Fenton system were investigated by means of experiment.The experimental results show that the photodegradation efficiency of microcystin-LR arrived up to 80% under the conditions of UV irradiation in several photocatalytic reaction systems. These results indicated that synergic effect of ultraviolet light together with oxidant within photo-assisted reaction systems impacted greatly on the photodegradation of MC-LR algae toxin.
