The results showed that dirhamnolipid at different concentrations was able to enhance the lignin degradation. Dirhamnolipid at 0.007% and 0.021% (w/w) increased the released water soluble total organic carbon (TOC) by 83.6% and 54.5%, respectively, which provided an opportunity of increasing the growth of Phanerochaete chrysosporium and decreasing its degeneration. In addition, the maximum activity of lignin peroxadase (LiP) was increased by 85.7% with dirhamnolipid at 0.007% (w/w). Whereas, dirhamnolipid have no stimulative effects on manganese peroxidase (MnP) activity. The degradation rate of lignin was increased by 54% with rhamnolipid at 0.007% (w/w) compared to the control. %K biosurfactant %K dirhamnolipid %K lignin %K degradation %K white rot fungi
