%X In order to study the applicability of semi-aerobic landfill on the Qinghai-Tibet plateau,which is high altitude,rareness of air,low temperature,great difference in temperature between day and night,strong evaporation,little rainfall,the pilot-scale of semi-aerobic landfill experiment was carried out at the Budongquan for 14 months,the results show that the concentration of COD dropped from 3307 mg/L originally to 403 mg/L finally;the concentration of ammonia nitrogen dropped from 135.4 mg/L to 0.04 mg/L during the corresponding time,moreover,the quantity of leachate decreased greatly.The research provided a municipal solid waste disposal method for the Qinghai-Tibet plateau.
