%X A TDI-CCD device is a new photoelectric sensor which has been developed in recent years. Compared with the common linear CCD sensor,the TDI-CCD has higher responsivity and sensitivity. The infrared focal plane detector based on a TDI-CCD has the features of high sensitivity and high resolution.It can operate at a lower illumination condition and will have a wide application area.In this paper,the operation principle and imaging features of the infrared focal plane detector based on a TDI-CCD is presented in detail and its structure,image clock,charge package transfer efficiency and synchronous control are discussed.
