El-Azizi %J Molecules %D 2002 %I MDPI AG %R 10.3390/70600501 %X The unique aromatic peptide 4-(p-aminobenzoylamino)-2-aminobenzoic acid, carotamine, together with 2,4-diaminobenzoic acid, isolated for the first time from a plant source, were identified from the aqueous alcoholic extract of the aerial parts of Daucus carota L. var. boissieri (Apiaceae).
