%X On the basis of the analysis of an infrared scene model,a frame detection method which uses the adaptive threshold filtering to restrain background and uses the adaptive threshold segmentation to segment targets is proposed against the signatures of the small weak infrared moving targets in air infrared images.The small weak targets are detected by using an eight close area judgement method in the sequence of infrared images.The experimental results have shown that this technique can effectively improve the ratio of signal to noise in images and thus effectively segment and quickly detect small targets.
