%X In this paper, the principle and features of Infrared imaging guided missiles are firstly presented. Then, a method for using infrared flare smoke grenade to counter infrared imaging guided missiles is proposed according to the defects of the missiles. Finally, a corresponding model is established. This model has provided a new idea and theory for early warning aircrafts to counter infrared imaging guided missiles.
