%X An algorithm for recognizing and tracking the important parts of an aircraft is proposed according to the fact that the shape of an aircraft can be recognized under the complicated weather condition.The algorithm is based on the geometrical features of an aircraft and the mathematical morphology.It can recognize the important parts of an aircraft easyly,quickly and effectively,acquire the tracking template in images automatically and implement stable tracking of the important parts of the aircraft through a correlated match algorithm.The particular use steps of the algorithm are given. The experiment result has shown that this algorithm is effective.
