%X Polymer-supported electrophilic halogenate(I) complexes 2 and 3 promote smooth addition to vinyl and allylsilanes without loss of the silyl group. In conjunction with Amberlyst A26 (OH£¿ -form) vinyl silanes are converted into epoxysilanes.
