%X According to the lateral collection characteristics of minority carriers in linear HgCdTe infrared focal plane array(IRFPA),an image processing method for improving the quality of images was proposed.This method was applied to the remote sensing images,which were obtained from a satellite loaded with 256-element IRFPAs developed by Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics.The results show that both the resolution and contrast of the images are improved obviously with the proposed method.
